Peskov clarified that the meeting will be held in videoconference mode.
He also said that the meeting will be attended by the heads of all regions.
Earlier, the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, and the governor of the Vologda Oblast, Oleg Kuvshinnikov, announced a planned meeting with Putin.
The Kremlin said Putin could make a new statement this week on the situation of coronavirus.
