The alarm came to the police at 01.25 the night before Sunday. Four men aged 25-50 had stolen a car in Bredsand south of Sundsvall.

The police started following the thieves and it developed into a car chase on both the E4 and smaller roads north past Sundsvall. During the hunt, the thieves threw objects at the police.

After about a mile, the thieves stopped the car itself, according to police.

"They gave up so it was undramatic arresting," says Erik Backlin, RLC commander of the police.

The men are now suspected of resorting to means of procurement. The driver was also suspected of drunken driving and gross unlawful driving. The car has been seized.
