Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari announced a gradual deconfinement in the most populous country in Africa from May 4, but will impose a night curfew and the wearing of a mask. Containment began in the megalopolis on March 30, and is now taking place at the same time as Ramadan. In Nigeria half of the population is Muslim.

We will also go to Tunisia in this newspaper, where the confinement is total and the curfew is maintained during the period of Ramadan. Holy month is usually synonymous with family reunions and cultural outings for many Tunisians.

Finally in DR Congo, there will be a lawsuit against Vital Kamerhe. Almost three weeks after the arrest of Félix Tshisekedi's chief of staff, one of the main aspects of the so-called “100 days” case - which concerns the construction of prefabricated housing - was transmitted to the High Court of the Gombe. Justice suspects embezzlement but Vital Kamerhe denies any involvement.
