For the second time in 24 hours, a man was shot and wounded in Nîmes, in the popular district of Chemin Bas d'Avignon.

Friday night, a man in his thirties was the target of two shooters. On the spot, the investigators discovered casings of caliber 9 mm and 12 mm. The day before, a man - known to the police - who had been wounded by a bullet had been dropped off at the emergency room. The driver then fled.

Victim known for drug trafficking

The bullet passed through the victim at shoulder level, without touching any vital organs. The man was able to leave the hospital with a few stitches. To investigators who interviewed him, the man, already convicted of drug trafficking, said he did not know who could have been responsible for the shots.
