Haftar announced the transition to the LAA control of Libya

“The General Command of the Armed Forces takes over the leadership of the country and announces the termination of the Shirat Agreement,” TASS reports.

According to Haftar, the Shirat Agreement destroyed Libya and put the country in a dangerous position.

At the end of February, Haftar announced that hostilities would end in Libya if the Syrian mercenaries were withdrawn from the country and the supply of arms from Turkey ceased.
