The Egyptian series "The End" succeeded in attracting attention within a few days of the start of the current Ramadan season, after its uniqueness in presenting a different drama in the framework of science fiction.

The series revolves around a computer engineer who is trying to devise a solution to the energy problem in the future, but he faces companies that control the lives of the planet's inhabitants at this time, then he gets involved in a conflict with a robot who sees the salvation of the earth in getting rid of all people.

The series is completely complete in the future, when the Arab countries were united, and the State of Israel collapsed after a war with the Arabs, and the series tells us that it happened before the centenary of the establishment of Israel, without knowing the details of this war until now.

The events of the first episodes of the series prompted the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs to comment on Sunday, confirming that "the Egyptian TV series - which presents a future in which Arab countries destroyed Israel - is unacceptable, as the first episode of the series presents a scene for children in a semester in the year 2120, where they are taught a lesson about The Jerusalem liberation war, "according to the Associated Press.

In the scene that sparked the controversy, a teacher explained the lesson to his students, saying, "America was the main supporter of the Zionist state, and when the time came for the Arab countries to rid themselves of their archenemy, the war to liberate Jerusalem erupted."

According to the series, Al-Muallem added that "the war ended quickly and caused the destruction of the Zionist State of Israel less than a hundred years after its establishment, as most of the Jews fled Israel, and returned to their countries of origin in Europe."

The Israeli Foreign Ministry stated that "Egypt and Israel enjoy good relations and cooperation, especially in fighting extremist groups in the Sinai Peninsula, and that this cooperation through which Israel agreed to allow the entry of heavy Egyptian forces and military equipment to the Egyptian-Israeli borders in violation of the terms of the peace treaty, in order to allow the Egyptian army Cordon off extremist groups. "

The author replied,
while the author of the series, Amr Samir Atef, told The Associated Press that "the demise of Israel in the future is possible, especially with the absence of a stable peace based on a just solution."

On his personal Facebook page, Atef expected his series to be attacked by what he called "the herds", and asked his followers to defend him in front of this campaign.

"The End" series, starring the Egyptian actor Youssef Al Sharif, with the participation of Amr Abdel Galil, Ahmed Wafik, Sahar Al Sayegh, and directed by Yasser Samy.

In his first episode, he presented a different future for the Arab region, where Palestine was liberated, European Jews returned to the countries from which their ancestors emigrated, and Jerusalem became an Arab capital. He also presented a hologram map of North America showing the disintegration of the United States of America and its transformation into rival gangs.

The series is produced by "Synergy" Company, owned by "Media Egyptians", which is closely related to Egyptian security services, and is broadcast on the network of "ON" channels owned by the company itself.

Egyptian-Israeli relations The Israeli
anger expressed by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs was also accompanied by a journalist's anger, as the series was attacked through press reports in a number of Israeli newspapers, most notably "Haaretz", "The Times of Israel" and "The Jerusalem Post".

It is worth noting that the current Egyptian authority has good relations with the Israeli government. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at least twice since he assumed power in 2014, as the Egyptian President and former Minister of Defense stated in a press interview in 2018, when asked about If the Egyptian-Israeli relations are closer now than ever before, as "true, we have a wide range of coordination with the Israelis."
