The Director of the World Health Organization, today, Monday, warned that the outbreak of the Corona virus will not end soon, and expressed his "deep concern" about the impact of the disruption of normal health services, especially on children.

"The pandemic is far from over," said WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Gebresus, adding that the organization is concerned about the increasing curve of HIV infection in Africa, eastern Europe, Latin America and some Asian countries.

"We have a long way to go, and a lot of work ahead."

According to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, he said that a shortage of other disease vaccines had been reported in 21 countries due to border restrictions as a result of the Corona pandemic.

"The number of cases of malaria may double in sub-Saharan Africa. It should not happen. We are working with countries to support it," he said.
