US President Donald Trump is moving to stop his daily press conference on his administration's handling of the emerging corona virus, while press reports have contemplated changing Health Minister Alex Azar.

The US President said Saturday that his daily press conferences on the emerging corona virus do not deserve to be harnessed for her, after two days of controversy in the world sparked his proposal to inject the bodies of patients with sterile materials to combat Covid-19.

"What is the use of holding press conferences in the White House when all the media outlets are doing is asking hostile questions, and later refusing to accurately report the facts," he wrote on Twitter.

"They are recording a record follow-up from the public, and the American people are only getting false news. It is not worth it, not wasting time!"

Trump's comments appear to confirm that he intends to suspend his press conferences, which are broadcast on television channels, and sometimes last for more than two hours.

According to US media, the reason for this trend is the president's dismay at questions about his way to tackle the health crisis.

The United States is the country most affected by the virus globally, with more than 53,000 deaths recorded.

Last Thursday, the American President raised the amazement of the medical and media circles when he said, "I see that sterilizers kill it (Corona virus) in a minute. One minute. Is there a way to do something similar with an injection (in the body)?"

However, the president tried to belittle his remarks, and Friday confirmed that he was "laughing" about this issue.

On Friday evening, he ended his press conference 20 minutes later, and he refused to answer any questions.

On Saturday, the White House did not hold any press conference, after it organized 50 press conferences within two months.

It is noteworthy that Trump intends to run for a second term in November, and has used these conferences to show off the policies of his administration and reject the criticisms directed against them, attacking China, the Democrats and American journalists.

Disappointment
In a related context, the Wall Street Journal and Politico newspapers said that the Trump administration is considering changing the Minister of Health and Human Services Alex Azar, due to wrong steps taken in the beginning of dealing with the Corona virus pandemic.

The Wall Street Journal, quoting six people familiar with the discussions, said that disappointment with the buzzers is increasing but the administration is reluctant to make major changes, as the country seeks to stem the virus that has killed more than 53,000 people in the United States.

But White House spokesman Judge Dir denied this, saying that the Health Ministry, led by Azar, continues to lead on a number of the president's priorities, adding that "any speculation about individuals is irresponsible and is a distraction from our response as a government to Coved-19."

"Minister Azar is busy dealing with a global public health crisis, and he has no time for machinations," said Health Ministry spokeswoman Caitlin Oakley.
