Sources in London said that the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, will be pressured upon his return to work today, in order to develop a plan to reduce the measures of public isolation imposed to limit the spread of the new Corona virus, after he was absent from work for three weeks, due to his illness « Covid-19 »caused by the virus.

A source in the Prime Minister confirmed that Johnson, who spent a week in the hospital in early April, including three nights in intensive care, is looking forward to returning from his rural residence to his office in Downing Street.

In his absence, the government faced growing criticism from medical staff in hospitals and care homes for not providing them with adequate supplies, protective equipment and tools and for levels of Corona testing far below the target.

The number of deaths due to illness in British hospitals exceeded 20 thousand, according to the latest official data, with expectations that the total number will be much greater once the mortality of nursing homes is calculated.

But with signs of catastrophic economic impact, and as public frustration grows in British citizens over strict social divergence measures, the government faces increasing demands to begin clarifying how it intends to reduce public isolation.

The British Cabinet has so far refused to disclose any indications in this regard, and said that it is better now to keep the focus on the main message, which is staying at home and limiting out of necessities.

Eight mobile units, run by members of the army, began to travel through Britain to conduct Corona virus tests, to be followed by dozens of other units to help the government get closer to achieving its goal, by conducting 100,000 daily tests of the virus.

The Minister of Health, Matt Hancock, had promised to do this number of daily tests by April 30, but by last Friday only 28,760 had been done.

Britain is deploying mobile units to increase tests of the Corona virus.
