Homeowners: "We woke up from a roar and fled from there"

It has been really shocking hours for the family living in the house in Habo that the arrested man attacked with a wheel loader. They woke up in the middle of the night by a huge roar and then saw the big machine break loose on the fence and garden.

The mother in the house, who wants to be anonymous, tells that the man is on hold for a while and vandalizes. He also crashes into the garage on the site.

“We are terrified and do not know if he is looking for us. We also do not know if he is armed, ”the mother tells SVT News Jönköping.

The parents raise the children in the house and they describe it as chaos. The family only wears their nightwear.

At an appropriate time, the whole family flees out of the house. They rush as fast as they can out onto the street, get to the next street and there they see a car in which someone is sitting.

The family throws themselves in and screams: "Run - run!"

The man in the car turns out to own the wheel loader. He discovered the theft and followed the vehicle.

The farmer, who owns the vehicle but wants to remain anonymous, tells SVT that the arrested person has entered the office, looked for the keys and then drove off with the loader.

It awoke him and he followed the thief.

When the family throws himself into the farmer's car, he takes them home to the yard where the wheel loader was stolen. They stay there until they return to the house in the morning.

"We haven't been able to sleep all night," says the mother.

In the morning, they discover that the water supply in the house has broken down after the night's attack and when SVT hits the family they are on their way out to find somewhere to eat breakfast.
