April 26, 2020 Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson has completed recovery after coronavirus infection and will return to the helm of the British government on Monday full time. Downing Street sources confirmed this after the advances of the last few days.

The premier could hold a press briefing tomorrow while on Tuesday he should confront the new Labor leader, Keir Starmer. The most important decision awaiting him regards the start of Phase 2, while experts warn that the number of Covid-19 cases in the country is still too high.

First interviews
The sources said that Boris Johnson, in convalescence in the country residence of Checkers with the promise of his wife Carrie Symonds, six months pregnant and also recovering from convalescence from Covid-19, yesterday had a three-hour interview with the minister of Foreign and first secretary of state, Dominic Raab, his alternate in these days, and with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, number three of the government. Talks that updated him on all the open files.

The disease
Johnson was forced to self-isolation in an accommodation in Downing Street in late March after testing positive to a test coronavirus. However, the symptoms had not gone away and after more than two weeks a sudden worsening had forced him to be admitted to St Thomas Hospital in London where he stayed a week before being discharged on Easter Sunday.
