Yes, bread is indeed a French tradition. Its recipe is thus the most sought after since the start of containment. The search for homemade bread has jumped by 1,000%, for the baguette by 450%, and for sandwich bread by 250%. Surprise: naan, Indian bread, is the 16th recipe according to Google Trends. The craze for pasta, which ranks eighth, is also true, especially for homemade pasta.

Pancakes, cookies, pancake, brioche, for gourmet confinement

The French also seem to want to have fun during confinement. Pastry recipes are by far the most sought after! Pancakes (3rd), cookies (4th), pancakes (6th), brioche (7th) and waffles (9th) are all in the top 10 of Google Trends. Chocolate cake and churros are also popular with Internet users.
