The growth rate of the number of patients with coronavirus infection in Russia decreased to 10% per day. This was reported by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

She noted that the isolation regime played a "maximum positive role."

“And if we started with growth rates of almost 30% per day, today it is less than 10%. In our country, the proportion of asymptomatic cases exceeds 45%, and this is also the result. We identify people when they have not yet become ill, when they are still the least infectious, ”Popova said on the air of the program“ Moscow. Kremlin. Putin "on the TV channel" Russia-1 ".

The head of the department admitted that in Russia it will be possible to avoid the peak of the disease if citizens do not “break loose” at the May holidays. She added that non-compliance with self-isolation in early May could nullify all efforts and lead to the introduction of new restrictions.

“There are trends, they are encouraging. But if today we make the slightest mistake and stop observing these restrictions and requirements, we can return to the point from which we started and introduce some restrictions again, ”RIA Novosti quotes Popova.

In addition, Popova announced a number of innovations for catering establishments, which will enter into force after the abolition of the self-isolation regime.

“It will be the protection of distance, and the protection of those who serve and visitors,” she said, without specifying what the new rules will be.

Recall that in connection with the coronavirus pandemic in Moscow, cafes and restaurants work only for delivery. The Rospotrebnadzor noted that restrictions will be lifted gradually - first, institutions with a limited area and landing in the hall will resume work. After that, in certain regions they can allow the holding of mass events on which the tables will be at a distance of a meter or two from each other.

In addition, at each stage of lifting restrictions, necessary measures will be determined, such as the work of personnel wearing masks and gloves and the use of disposable tableware.

A spokesman for Russian President Dmitry Peskov also said that lifting the restrictions introduced by COVID-19 will be phased, but the stage has yet to be developed.

“It is absolutely clear that the way out of this situation will be phased, this can definitely be said,” he confirmed.

Meanwhile, Russian authorities continue to take measures to support citizens and businesses affected by the pandemic.

So, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed to extend the validity and filing of certificates for the purchase or construction of housing for young families.

“To establish that the validity of the certificate of eligibility for social benefits is not more than nine months from the date of issue specified in this certificate,” the resolution says on the Cabinet’s website.

In addition, Mishustin approved the rules for the provision of subsidies to tour operators for the reimbursement of expenses incurred in the implementation of activities related to restrictions due to coronavirus.

Recall that the number of cases of COVID-19 infection in Russia reached 80,949. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,767 people have recovered, 747 patients have died.

All subjects of Russia take measures to stop the spread of infection. So, the Tomsk Coronavirus Operational Headquarters imposed restrictions on entry and exit from the region. From Monday, April 27, drivers at the entrance to Tomsk will have to justify their movement by presenting documents confirming the need for urgent entry or exit from the region. Earlier, a similar decision was made by the authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region - all those entering the region without a work pass will be sent to quarantine.

It also became known that coronavirus was found in 52 people at the Moscow Theological Academy in Sergiev Posad. In addition, about 50 health workers contracted COVID-19 at the Mariinsky Hospital in St. Petersburg. The medical institution said that some of them are in the hospital, some are being treated at home.

Earlier, Dmitry Peskov said that next week Vladimir Putin may make new statements on the prospects for the development of the situation with the coronavirus.

Also, Mikhail Mishustin instructed the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Ministry of Economic Development, Rospotrebnadzor and the Ministry of Health to propose ideas on the gradual lifting of business restrictions imposed in connection with the distribution of COVID-19.
