The Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, decided to ease the movement restrictions imposed on the Ras and Nayef regions, and to allow the movement to return to normal during grace times, from six in the morning until 10 in the evening, with continued restrictions Traffic during the night hours, which runs from 10 pm until six in the morning, as is the case in the rest of the Emirate of Dubai.

The executive director of the Watani Emirates Foundation, a member of the Federal National Council, Dhirar Balhoul Al Falasi, said that the number of new cases of Corona virus (COFED-19) in the Naif area in Dubai amounted to "zero" over a period of days, with continuing checks. He assured the «Emirates Today» that «the checks were carried out on a large scale, and the conditions are promising».

He pointed out that 6391 tests are being conducted, while the examination process continues to include most of the population of the region, to ensure that it is free of the virus. Al-Falasi praised the residents ’commitment to the instructions and procedures imposed, which resulted in the absence of any new cases in the last days.

He explained that "the procedure is imposed by the nature of the region in terms of the number of its residents, and it also represents an important commercial market, in which buying and selling abound, and thus people interact with one another," stressing the need to extract information from official health sources exclusively.

Al-Falasi reassured everyone that matters were going well and that the state was proceeding with its carefully studied measures to confront the Corona pandemic.

He also acknowledged the great efforts that were made and made daily by police stations, especially the Naif Police Center and the Health Authority in Dubai, in addition to the Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation, and government and private institutions in the face of the emerging corona virus pandemic. He said, "Work is continuing to help residents of the Naif region overcome the crisis."

The Naif police station celebrated the recovery of 150 people, at the end of last week, from the new Corona virus, after they had passed the specified quarantine period.
