Togo: Gabriel Agbéyomé Kodjo released under judicial supervision

After just over three days in police custody at the central intelligence and criminal investigation service of the Lomé gendarmerie, Gabriel Agbéyomé Kodjo and several of his companions returned home on the night of Friday to Saturday. The opponent was arrested Tuesday at his home. He was placed under judicial supervision.

At nightfall, the information that Gabriel Agbéyomé Kodjo and his companions were taken to the parquet floor spread like wildfire.

The wait lasts ... Once again, hearing before the public prosecutor then at the examining magistrate.

Four conditions

The latter grants them - late at night -, freedom under judicial supervision accompanied by four conditions: obligation to defer to the various summons as soon as it is required, prohibition to leave the territory without authorization, prohibition to make any declaration tending to the calling into question of the results of the last presidential poll of February 22, 2020 and the prohibition of any statement, declaration or attitude tending to call into question and undermine the existing constitutional and institutional order.

Gabriel Agbéyomé Kodjo was taken home shortly before 11 p.m. universal time, Friday evening.
