German police have discovered two illegal hairdressing salons with two basements under two houses in the Miltenberg district of Bavaria, southeastern Germany.

A police spokesman said today, Saturday, that the customers lined up in the two cellars of the two houses, noting that the two hairdressers were equipped with several professional razors.

The spokesman added that two of the clients were sitting waiting for their role in the barber shop in the city's Elsenfeld district, adding that the police also seized one of the clients in a cellar in the Mummelingen district on Friday.

German citizens had reported to the police after observing the situation in both cases, and the police were investigating the three potential clients.

If the incident is proven, they face a charge of violating the Corona Virus Infection Protection Act.

The police also conduct an investigation into whether the two hairdressers have a license, that their activity is registered with the competent authorities and whether the work is for a fee or not.
