Rebecka is one of the most experienced sailing buddies. Growing up in the Kalmar district in a sailing family. Now she is studying at the doctor's program at Örebro University together with the other two friends.

- In corona times when everything else is set and the calendar gets pretty cleaned up on activities during the weekends, then we sat and talked about having something fun when you can't go anywhere, she says.

Painted and stitched chapel

With the support of father, siblings, and port people, the boat, originally from Åsbro and most used to the waters of Vättern, was launched in Hjälmaren. They have been preparing for the shipyard for three weeks since the purchase.

- We had no concrete plans to buy a boat, but we had some spontaneous thoughts. So this turned up and then we hit, says Johanna Eliasson.

- We have painted, scrubbed and sewed a chapel too, says Julia Olsson.

After launching and engine testing, the gun and mast were dropped, before it was time for official baptism.
