The Civil Guard has arrested a young man of 29 years for allegedly stabbing his 60-year-old mother this afternoon at his home in the town of Manzanares El Real , sources from the Armed Institute have reported.
The parricide took place this afternoon when 112 received a warning about 7:00 pm from the local police of the municipality warning that a woman could be dead at her home, located on Los Cercados street .
A spokesperson for Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid has detailed to Europa Press that a SUMMA 112 mobile ICU has moved to the place and has verified that there was no possibility of resuscitating the woman , who had already died with at least five stab wounds .
After only confirming the death, the health workers have left the body and the crime scene to the Civil Guard investigators.
From the Armed Institute they have indicated that the arrested as the author of the crime is a young man of Spanish nationality and that he is precisely the son of a victim . The investigations have been undertaken by the Homicide group of the Civil Guard to clarify the reasons for the parricide.
