CORONAVIRUS ESSENTIALS

> Can France hope for a more favorable scenario than Italy?

> Are women and people with blood type O more resistant?

> Are certain serious forms linked to a genetic factor?

> How will the distribution of masks take place in France?

> Back to school on May 11: under what conditions?

These additional hotel places are in addition to the 157,000 accommodation places already funded by the State, including the 14,000 winter places extended until the end of May.

The 95 specialized accommodation sites ("containment centers") accommodate "homeless people with coronavirus but who do not require hospitalization". Representing nearly 3,500 places, they are distributed in 79 departments, including Mayotte and Reunion.

Service vouchers for the homeless

In addition, an exceptional service voucher distribution system was launched on April 1 to allow homeless people to buy food and hygiene products during the health crisis, the ministry said. These checks, in the amount of 7 euros per day, are distributed by associations and the prefectures.
