According to the latest statistics, the new Corona virus infected 2.8 million people worldwide, 197,872 of whom died, while 746,259 patients recovered.

While Corona's total deaths in Britain exceeded the 20,000 mark, the daily death toll in America had dropped dramatically and several countries had begun to reduce and lift bans and closures, and Spain allowed children to leave their homes for the first time in six weeks.

During the last twenty-four hours, there were 813 additional deaths in Britain in Coved-19 in hospitals, which brings the total to 20319.

The daily toll rose from the previous day in which 684 deaths were recorded, despite the government's consideration that the country has crossed the height of the epidemic.

The British government's chief operational adviser, Patrick Vallance, said last March that keeping the death toll at less than 20,000 would be a "good result."

Criticism of the British government has been mounting over its handling of the emerging epidemic of the Corona virus, with an increase in the total number of deaths.

The authorities were slower to impose general isolation than their European counterparts.

Britain has the fifth highest official death toll from the virus in the world after the United States, Italy, Spain and France. Scientists said that the death rate will not begin to decline quickly within a few weeks.

The total number of deaths is likely to increase in thousands once the outcome includes deaths in elderly homes.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is still recovering from a 19-Covid infection earlier this month. In his absence, his government ministers make strenuous efforts to explain the high death rate, the limited number of checks and the lack of protective equipment for health and care workers.

In the United States, 1,258 additional deaths from the new Corona virus have occurred in the last 24 hours, in a daily toll that is the lowest in nearly three weeks, according to Johns Hopkins University.

However, this decline in numbers is not currently indicative of any specific trend, and it will have to remain that way in the coming days in order to be able to confirm the existence of actual improvement in the country.

Italy is beyond Coruna

In Italy, the authorities announced on Saturday plans to put an end to the prices of face masks and increase antibody tests, as it approached the end of the longest national closure period to contain the emerging corona virus.

The Mediterranean country is awaiting a fateful decision at the end of this week regarding any of the restrictions that will be lifted when the current closure period expires on May 3.

It is reported that Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has a proposal that recommends caution and involves a gradual relaxation of strict measures over a period of four weeks.

Italians are more likely to be allowed at the beginning of next month to leave their homes freely for the first time since 9 March.

Gardens and parks may be reopened and the country begins to find its way out of its most painful experience since WWII.

But reports say the vision before Conte is not as life-like as the Italians had told it.

Italy's official death toll has exceeded 26,000, leaving it the highest in Europe and second globally after the United States in terms of the number of deaths.

"The virus has been weakened, but not defeated," said Domenico Arcori, the emergency response commissioner. "This is evident to everyone."

Children outside the home

In turn, Spain on Saturday issued guidelines allowing children to leave homes after six weeks of general isolation measures that are among the most stringent.

The government said that it would allow children under the age of 14 to leave from Sunday with up to one hour of supervised outside activity from nine in the morning and nine in the evening, provided that they should not move more than one kilometer from their homes.

Adults can accompany up to three children but children will not be allowed to use their designated playgrounds, and they will have to adhere to the Social Divergence Guidelines by keeping them at least 2 meters away from other people.

The total number of deaths caused by the Corona virus in the country rose to 22,902 today, after recording 378 deaths during the last twenty-four hours, while infections exceeded 223,000.

Selling and praying

In India, officials said that the government allowed a limited return to work in stores in some neighborhoods and residential areas from Saturday, more than a month after imposing public quarantine measures nationwide to stem the spread of the new Corona virus.

The Ministry of Interior said that retail stores can return to work with half the number of workers, taking into account social separation procedures and wearing masks and gloves while at work. Shops in supermarkets or shopping malls will not open until May 3.

In Pakistan, the government extended public quarantine measures nationwide until May 9, but decided to switch to so-called smart isolation measures from Saturday, as a traceability process began, with some industrial and commercial activities allowed to resume work according to guidelines. for safety.

Authorities allowed the return of congregational prayers during the month of Ramadan, with the exception of the southern province of Sindh, where doctors warned that the disease might spread quickly.

On its side, Uzbekistan allowed some retail stores and other companies to return

To work on Saturday, after being closed for weeks due to the emerging epidemic of the Coronavirus.

The authorities allowed the return of the activities of stores selling construction materials, auto parts, seeds and seedlings, as well as dry cleaning and insurance companies, documentation agencies and companies working in the field of construction and agricultural machinery.

Uzbekistan - which has a population of 34 million people - recorded 1,804 cases of coronavirus and eight deaths, while 621 people recovered from the disease.

On Friday, the government said it would soon begin lifting social separation restrictions in some areas.
