The work on its medical day extends from the early morning hours until the announcement of the curfew at six in the evening, and is divided into two main educational and medical roles, accompanied by four medical personnel working in the epidemiological investigation teams in Aqaba.

The Directorate of Health in Aqaba Governorate formed 24 medical teams for epidemiological investigation in the various regions of the governorate and within the coastal city, working on random sampling for the residents.

".

The Aqaba Directorate of Health set up epidemiological investigation teams to monitor any spread of the Corona virus in mid-January, by virtue of Aqaba's coastal location on the Red Sea and its reception of ships loaded with goods and tourists.

The epidemiological investigation teams were present at the twelve border crossings of Aqaba, land, sea and air, and at 23 berths in the port of Aqaba, according to Al-Muhaisen.

quarantine The last seven quarantined cases in a hotel in southern Aqaba came out of quarantine last Wednesday, after they were subjected to special health measures imposed by the Jordanian authorities on arriving to the city of Aqaba as part of their plans to confront the Corona virus.

"We formed 24 epidemiological investigation teams in Aqaba Governorate throughout the day, and these teams were distributed between 12 teams at the entrances to Aqaba coming from other governorates at Wadi Araba Customs Center and Wadi Al Yateem, and its mission is to examine cars, their passengers, trucks and drivers," Aqaba health director Ibrahim Al-Muayyah told Al Jazeera Net. .

"There are 4 teams to monitor the markets, workflow and social spacing, and they carry the capacity of judicial control, and 6 teams are specialized in drawing random samples from the resident citizens, from workers and shoppers," Al-Maaya added.

And it indicates that any truck entering Aqaba must pass through a special device to sterilize it with medical materials, and the corona checks required for truck drivers, especially temperature measurement and sample taking of the medical survey, are carried out.

Aqaba also has a private yard in the Al-Ittihad region, in which drivers entering the governorate are collected from outside the Kingdom, and medical teams take samples from them and laboratory swabs, especially those coming from countries that witness a heavy spread of the virus.

epidemiological investigation teams find acceptance and cooperation by the residents and residents of the city, according to Al-Muhaisen. There is a state of discipline by them and a sense of responsibility in protecting society from the transmission of any infection.

Al-Eshreeni, Musab Al-Riyati, who works in a bakery, responded to the medical team visiting his bakery, and he did not refuse to undergo a medical examination. He tells Al-Jazeera Net that the teams of doctors visit his bakery permanently, warn customers of the closeness between them, and work to examine workers and some customers.

And 260 people have been quarantined in the city of Aqaba since the beginning of the Corona crisis in accordance with public health and safety standards and under specialized medical supervision, they were evacuated in batches, and instructed on how to deal with their surroundings, and the need to conduct periodic medical examinations to ensure that they are completely free of the disease.

And the Jordanian government eased the curfew measures in the southern governorates (Aqaba, Karak, Tafilah, and Ma'an), after it was free from any infection with the Corona virus, as it allowed citizens to move in private cars and taxis, the return of government institutions, and the resumption of the work of establishments, shops and restaurants within the specified time of Ten in the morning until six in the evening.
