The State Council's Joint Defense and Joint Control Mechanism held a press conference.
At present, China's daily express delivery volume has exceeded 200 million pieces and basically returned to the normal level before the epidemic.

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 25 (Reporter Wang Yuxiao Wang Xi) Bian Zuodong, Deputy Director of the Market Supervision Department of the State Post Bureau, introduced at the press conference of the Joint Defense and Joint Control Mechanism of the State Council on the 25th that the current daily express delivery in China exceeds 200 million , Basically restored to the normal level before the epidemic.

Bian Zuodong said that 96.6% of townships and villages nationwide have set up courier service outlets. Even in the first quarter of this year, the number of express receipts in rural areas still exceeded 3 billion even if affected by the epidemic, supporting more than 200 billion yuan for industrial products to go to the countryside and agricultural products to enter the city. In response to the problems of high cost and inadequate service in rural express delivery services, the State Post Bureau has recently launched the "Express Delivery into the Village" project, and strives to use three years to promote qualified villages to basically achieve village-to-city express delivery.

Unmanned delivery modes such as smart express boxes have become one of the development trends of postal express terminal services. Bian Zuodong introduced that in recent years, there have been 406,000 smart express boxes built in the country, but there are still many old residential areas that do not have smart express boxes. In response to these problems, the State Post Bureau plans to issue guidelines to support the construction of smart express boxes in the near future. At the same time, users can complain or report unauthorized behaviors such as putting express mail into smart express boxes without the user's consent, and the postal management department will investigate and deal with it according to law.
