  Li Qiang, deputy mayor of Wuhan City, said that the city of Wuhan is striving to strengthen the basic livelihood security of the people in need, and suspended the annual verification work of the current Dibao targets in the first half of the year to extend the guarantee period. From April 1, the urban and rural minimum living standard in Wuhan has been raised to 830 yuan and 680 yuan per month, respectively. Since January, Wuhan has added 1,332 low-income households, and the number of newly-increased minimum living guarantees is 1998. From January to April, the minimum guarantee and special hardship pensions were all paid to personal accounts on time and in full, and a total of about 370 million yuan was issued.

  At the same time, Wuhan strengthened the temporary relief work for the people in need, and timely included families and individuals whose basic lives were in trouble due to new coronary pneumonia, and flexible workers in the scope of temporary relief, and issued temporary relief funds. At present, Wuhan City has assisted 3,665 people in total, with a total of 10 million yuan in temporary relief funds.
