- We plan for the staff to have their vacation, but we have to use all three summer months, which we have the opportunity to do, says Ewa Slätmo, area manager at the Health and Medical Administration Region Örebro County.

Summer planning is not yet complete and usually will not be until the end of May. In order to covid care, the care organization has been stowed.

- Maybe we can benefit from it for the summer, says Ewa Slätmo. 

Normally, the planned operation is usually reduced during the summer and care places are closed - measures that have already been taken in connection with the changeover for covid.

Will there be more canceled surgeries and closed care centers than usual this summer due to covid?

- Right now it is impossible to answer it, says Ewa Slätmo.
