Professors, staff… and pupils? For the time being, as soon as school resumes, only the first two should wear masks to limit the spread of the coronavirus. But children may also have to equip themselves. This is what Dominique Bussereau wishes, Friday evening: "The children will have to come with a mask", asks the president of the Assembly of the departments of France on Europe 1.

Masked in transport?

"The state will provide masks to its teachers. We, the communities, will provide masks to our technical staff," said Dominique Bussereau, while the departments are in charge of the colleges. "Naturally, children will have to come with their masks given by their parents. They will also have to be masked on public transport."

Friday morning, the Minister of Health Olivier Véran was not categorical on this point. "For the moment, this is what Jean-Michel Blanquer rather tells us, but the government has time to harmonize its position," replies Dominique Bussereau. "If the children see their parents wearing a mask in the street, it would surprise me that they do not want to wear it too, regardless of their age."
