SVT has asked over 100 municipalities if they inform relatives of the elderly about coronas infection in the accommodation. More than one in ten municipalities answer no.
Carina Juhlin, director of senior management in Uppsala, explains that it is about protecting the individual on the farm.
- We assume the privacy law. If we talk about the fact that there is an infection in a home, we cannot guarantee that we will protect the infected - people can find out who it is, she says.
