Céline Dion postpones sine die "the first months of her European tour", from May 21 to July 25, including six dates scheduled in Paris, "not knowing when things will return to normal" because of the pandemic.

This report represents 28 concerts in 19 European cities of the "Courage world tour". Those around him are working on "reprogramming" with the aim of announcing "as many dates as possible, insofar as the security conditions allow events to be organized in each of the cities", according to a press release.

The world tour - 52 sold-out shows so far before the brackets - started in September in Quebec, before stopping in March due to the coronavirus.

In France, Céline Dion had six dates at Paris La Défense Arena, between June 26 and July 4. She was also scheduled to perform in mid-July at the Vieilles Charrues, in Brittany, a festival that threw in the towel due to the health crisis.

Céline Dion, in a press release, addresses her "thoughts" and "prayers" to "all those who lost loved ones and who suffer so much during this devastating pandemic".

"I know that everyone has trouble adapting to these difficult circumstances, not knowing when things will return to normal. In the end, we will overcome this ordeal… hope as soon as possible," continues the singer.

The interpreter of "For you love me again" then says his "admiration for the health professionals, the first responders and all the courageous people who do everything they can to take care of us and provide for us during these times difficult ".

"Health and safety are the top priorities for everyone ... although I can't wait to get back on stage and be with you all again," she said.

The entourage of the star encourages "the public to keep the concert tickets until the announcement of the new dates".
