The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a 52-year-old man and Spanish nationality last night for the death of a woman, 63 and the same nationality, at a home in the Pont de Vilomara (Barcelona).
This Thursday around 10 o'clock at night the agents received an alert from a man that there could be an injured person in a home in this town. When the Mossos arrived they confirmed that the man who was later detained and that had several wounds was there.
Inside the apartment there was also a woman with chest injuries and in serious condition, so the ambulance could only confirm her death shortly after, despite attempts by agents and health workers to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The Mossos arrested the suspect in the woman's death and began an investigation into the causes of this murder, although everything indicates that they were roommates.
