The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in coordination with the embassy of the state in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the official authorities in the Kingdom and the concerned authorities in the country, managed to return the three-year-old (precious) girl to her arms of her parents who live in Dubai, after suspending flights to and from Emirates due to the outbreak of the new corona virus.

The child, Ghalia Muhammad Al-Amoudi, traveled from Dubai to Dammam with her grandmother at the beginning of last March, and it was planned that her mother would follow her two days later to visit the family, but the rapid developments of the Corona epidemic prevented the mother from traveling to Dammam or returning the girl to the Emirates.

After waiting 50 days, the girl returned to the state’s land last Wednesday, after the special arrangements made by the UAE government in coordination with the Saudi authorities, to reunite the girl with her parents.

The father of the girl, Muhammad Al-Amoudi, who was awaiting the return of his child, stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation provided all facilities, and expressed the necessary attention to the return of his daughter and follow-up of her condition since her presence in Saudi Arabia until her arrival to the homeland.

He said: «We thank our government and our elders for their surprising stance with us in this crisis, and for stopping them with every citizen and resident on the homeland. We also thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, headed by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, for all the facilities, interest and follow-up they have provided to our daughter's case. We also thank the Ministry of Interior, headed by Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, for all the support they provided. We also thank the Ministry of Health and Community Protection for everything it does, especially in this crisis. ”
