As reminded by the PMC, from March 30 in the Moscow pre-trial detention center because of the restrictive measures taken in connection with the situation with the coronavirus, the acceptance of parcels and transmissions was stopped.

“In the Moscow subdivision of FSUE“ Kaluga ”, PMCs explained that in the pre-trial detention center No. 7 the employee who delivered the orders fell ill yesterday. He felt signs of a cold, he was taken out of the detention center and a coronavirus test was taken from him, ”the PM said.

According to the interlocutor, the FSUE “Kaluga” emphasized that the diagnosis has not yet been confirmed, but to restore work, another employee is needed, who must also undergo a medical examination.

The termination of the delivery of orders to pre-trial detention center No. 12 at the Federal State Unitary Enterprise was explained by computer breakdown and the impossibility of repair technicians due to quarantine measures.

“A representative of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise, in an interview with members of the PMC, admitted that there are delays in the delivery of orders in other isolators due to the sharply increased load on the enterprise after the ban on sending and transferring to prisoners,” said the PMC in Moscow. They clarified that the restoration of the online stores of both pre-trial detention centers is expected next week.

The commission expressed concern about the failure of the online store.

“Now this is the only channel for acquiring not only additional products, but also cigarettes, as well as personal hygiene items,” said the representative of the PMC.

On April 15, the first meeting of the central headquarters of the PMC on the fight against coronavirus was held at the Public Chamber.
