Liseberg, Gröna lund, Skara Sommarland and other amusement parks are operated with annual so-called tivolite permits from the police - and are thus subject to the restriction of a maximum of 50 visitors to public gatherings or public events.

- We hope for changes in the restrictions or a different interpretation of the permits, says Janne Nilsson, who plans to open on June 6.

Limitation affects amusement parks - but not zoos

The large amusement parks and zoos cooperate in the Swedish Amusement Park Association and now have close contact for this year's season. The rules are different for different types of parks. Those operated with a zoo permit can bring visitors in as much as usual. However, amusement parks operated with a so-called amusement permit are subject to the restriction of a maximum of 50 visitors.

- It's strange to walk in malls and other places where people are much more crowded. Of course, if we open, we will be careful about hygiene and distance.

Works to change the conditions

Skara Summerland has an area of 400,000 square meters. In other words, long - before it gets crowded. Now the amusement parks are working to change or reinterpret the conditions.

- If the next level is 500 then it is too little for us to open. The cost of starting the attractions is too great.
