“In St. Petersburg, by April 28, 5483 beds will be deployed to treat moderate to severe coronavirus infection in 14 healthcare facilities,” RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that taking into account a possible negative scenario, 1950 beds are deployed as a reserve in three institutions of the city.

On April 6, the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, stated that the epidemiological situation in the city was deteriorating daily.

According to him, Petersburg is three weeks behind Moscow in terms of the spread of coronavirus infection.
