The confinement period, suggesting that the dwellings are permanently occupied, did not slow them down. At around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, three armed and masked criminals broke into the home of an elderly couple from Charly, south of Lyon.

According to Le Progrès, the burglars tied up the two victims, aged 79 and 87, before turning their house upside down and fleeing. We do not yet know what they stole from this couple.

The occupants of the house, retired farmers, were transported to the Lyon Sud hospital, as a precaution, and the time that order was restored in their villa.

This Thursday morning, gendarmes from the Givors research brigade, in charge of the investigation, went to the home-jacking scene, accompanied by a scientific team, to identify any traces left by the criminals.
