22 April 2020 The heritage of the Spada di Ostia clan has been definitively confirmed. The Guardia di Finanza is carrying out a measure issued by the preventive measures section of the court of Rome for the confiscation of movable and immovable property for a total value of 18 million. Among the assets - which had been seized in October 2018 - also the gym in Ostia where Roberto Spada in November of 017 attacked the Rai journalist Daniele Piervincenzi.

The investigation conducted by the men of the Gico del Nucleo of economic and financial police of Rome have allowed to reconstruct all the heritage accumulated over the years by the main exponents of the clan: Carmine Spada, called Romoletto, Ottavio Spada, Armando Spada, Roberto Spada and Claudio Galatioto. An accumulated wealth, investigators say, through extortion, usury and drug trafficking. The investigations concerned about fifty people, including family members and third parties who acted as nominees for the top of the clan and were involved in false sales of company shares. Overall, 19 companies were confiscated, two sole proprietorships and 6 sports / cultural associations, almost all in Ostia and operating in various sectors: management of ovens, bars, slot rooms, fuel stations, gyms, dance schools, car trading and construction. Among the companies there is also the 'FemusBoxe', the company that ran the gym where Piervincenzi was hit. For that affair Roberto Spada was convicted of injuries aggravated by the mafia method. 2 properties were also confiscated in Ostia and Ardea (Rome), 13 vehicles and financial resources on bank and postal relationships.
