Rouhani said "the need to expand cooperation and the exchange of experience between Iran and Russia in the fight against coronavirus."
“Officials of the two countries should make efforts to conduct bilateral trade in compliance with health regulations,” the Iranian president said.
Putin also noted the importance of overcoming the current difficult conditions, confirming the disposition to develop bilateral relations.
Earlier, Putin and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation, during which, in particular, they discussed the coronavirus and the situation in Syrian Idlib.
