Amazon's French warehouses remain closed. The American online commerce giant announced Tuesday April 21 the extension of the suspension of its activities on these sites, until Saturday inclusive, pending the decision of the Versailles Court of Appeal.

"Following the appeal hearing, which took place on Tuesday, April 21, we are temporarily suspending the activity of our French distribution centers. We will reassess our position once the judgment of the French court The call will have been made Friday, April 24, "Amazon said in a statement.

Amazon seized the Versailles Court of Appeal concerning the restriction of its activity in France linked to the coronavirus pandemic. The decision is expected at 2 p.m. Friday. 

We remain puzzled by the decision which was made by the Nanterre court on April 14 and appealed against this decision to the Versailles Court of Appeal.

The court in Nanterre forced him last week to limit himself to food, hygiene and health products, the time to assess the security conditions for his employees in his warehouses. Amazon then opted for a temporary closure of its French warehouses.
