A central role
Monique Villemin played a central role in the affair of the assassination of her grandson. On October 16, 1984, little Grégory Villemin, 4 years old, was found dead, feet and fists tied in the waters of Vologne (Vosges), without the culprit being ever found.

One month after his release from prison, he was shot by Jean-Marie Villemin outside his home. Then it was Christine, the mother, who was suspected of having killed her own son before being whitewashed for "complete absence of charges" on February 3, 1993.
In June 2017, Monique Villemin was identified as one of the crows in the case. New expert reports had established that Grégory's grandmother was the author of a threatening letter sent to judge Simon in 1989.
