After the fallout from the "Corona" crisis that struck the world economy at the core, Germany is still searching for labor for some economic activities, such as shops and hospitals that suffer from a large lack of workers, which forced it to re-employ those who left the service.

Vacancies in the field of elderly care have also increased, and the agricultural sector needs thousands of workers for the harvest season. It is customary that about three hundred thousand workers are brought in to collect vegetables and fruits, and e-commerce activities are looking for more freight and home delivery workers.

Although there are more than 1.5 million jobs that Germany needs in the long run, according to the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry, reaching and residing in Germany and obtaining its citizenship will become more difficult for those who defraud the official circles, provide false documents, or conceal their true identity.

The consequences will not be for the fraudster only, but for all members of his family even if they deserve to obtain German citizenship.

Thus, the means to obtain citizenship will become more stringent under legislation prepared by the German Ministry of the Interior.

Pre-tightening
Since changing the citizenship law in Germany ten years ago, citizenship was withdrawn from three hundred people, numbers that were transferred by the German news agency from the Federal Interior Ministry.

Citizenship could have been withdrawn from a naturalized person within five years after obtaining it, if naturalization was "the result of fraud, threat, or the supply of bribery, or the giving of incorrect or incomplete information on purpose."

A foreigner must live in Germany for eight years, during which he will obtain a temporary residence permit first, then permanent residence, which are necessary steps before he can apply for German citizenship.

For children, the child gets German citizenship at birth, if at least one of the parents has German citizenship. The same applies also if the parents are immigrants, and at least one of them passed through his stay in Germany at the time of the child's birth eight years. Taking into account the interests of children when withdrawing nationality from a naturalized person.

The consequences of lying and forgery
. Now, whoever submits false information or data about his identity to the German authorities, he risks the following:

1- Withdrawing his German passport even after ten years (instead of five years) from naturalization.

2- Not counting the period of residence prior to the violation, no matter how long it took, the German newspaper "Die Welt" reported on April 17 that the new draft law calls for "not counting the years spent by the immigrant under a false identity in Germany in meeting the requirements for obtaining citizenship ".

3- Denial of the right to temporary or permanent residency; the draft law submitted by the Ministry of the Interior provides that fraudsters should be denied the right to obtain a temporary or permanent residence permit. These are passes usually granted to foreigners as necessary steps to obtain German citizenship.

4- Considering the validity of the parents ’identity as a condition for the granting of sexual births, which is the biggest obstacle that concerns the children of people who entered the country using false papers.

According to the draft law, "The identity and nationality of the parents will have to be verified in the future" as a precondition "to grant their children born in Germany citizenship", after the children born in Germany to foreign parents had a German passport from birth if one of the parents had already lived in the country eight years .

Other restrictions
With the reform of the citizenship law, other restrictions were introduced in order to obtain a German passport, which, along with counterfeiters of the original identity, was mainly targeted at terrorists and polygamists.

The new law prohibits people from obtaining German citizenship while they are married several times abroad. According to the deputy head of the parliamentary bloc of the Christian Union parties, Torsten Fry, "If there are multiple marriages, the German passport cannot be granted."

Naturalization is also linked to "harmony with German lifestyle", in addition to linguistic knowledge and a monthly income that guarantees living.
