Khripun added that about 4 thousand beds were deployed in Moscow this week, and an additional 5 thousand beds are planned for next week.
According to him, the situation allows the ambulance in Moscow to work more evenly and transport patients with coronavirus to hospitals, taking into account the severity of their condition and available hospital resources.
“This is a serious margin of safety in Moscow in the form of redeveloped beds and at the same time an indicator of safety for Muscovites,” the head of the Moscow Health Department emphasized.
