April 19, 2020 There are 126 positive Covid-19 patients. Of these, 22 patients need respiratory support. The patients discharged and transferred to home or to other territorial structures are 316 this morning. Further resignations of asymptomatic or paucisymptomatic patients are expected during the day. Considering the now consolidated trend of decrease in hospital admissions, as part of a regional review of the role of Covid Hospitals, the Spallanzani Institute is proceeding to hospitalize patients from other wards, including suspect and diagnosed patients.

"Tomorrow, April 20, 2020, the activity of the USCA-R will begin, territorial intervention units composed of professionals, doctors and nurses, who in number of 800 have adhered to the call of the Lazio Region and which under the direction of the Councilor for Health , head of the Regional Crisis Unit, with the coordination of Inmi Lazzaro Spallanzani, will carry out an active surveillance activity on rest homes, housing homes for the elderly and patients at home, also with a 'drive in' mode, in synergy with the Sisp of the ASL of Lazio ".
