According to the proposal, the municipalities will review what the need looks like, and then find alternative housing solutions that they can offer residents in need. Subsequently, the municipalities can apply for money from the state. Initially, it is proposed that SEK 200 million be allocated.

- It is aimed at those who are cramped, is where someone in the household belongs to a risk group. We know that it is extremely difficult to avoid the spread of infection then. Then we want to help those households. For example, with a hotel accommodation or with a hostel.
