The author of the letter is 41-year-old Jacek Chervionka. He was born in Poland, but has been living in Germany for 30 years.

“You are a great hero to me, Spartak Andreevich,” Chervionka said.

According to him, Sychev and his comrades in the army liberated the world from fascism and gave peace.

“You know, in Poland and Germany I have watched documentaries about the war many times and read many books about the war. But many times they told lies about this war and Russia, ”Chervionka said and added that it was just awful and he did not understand how to do this.

As the author of the letter emphasized, it is very important that people like Sychev tell their story and that Russia annually celebrates Victory Day.

The project #Post-Victory contains the stories of those who survived the siege of Leningrad, signed on the walls of the Reichstag, who hid Soviet soldiers escaping from concentration camps.

With the help of the project #Post-Victory, anyone can write letters to veterans, their stories of wars and victories will be told over the next months.

Letters sent to the editorial office of the channel will be handed over to veterans.
