17 April 2020In the midst of a pandemic, the announcement of a new phase of the space race arrives from the United States. The first human flight from US soil is scheduled for 27 May following the Shuttle's withdrawal in July 2011: NASA chief administrator Jim Bridenstine announced this in a tweet with the hashtag #LaunchAmerica.

BREAKING: On May 27, @NASA will once again launch American astronauts on American rockets from American soil! NASA allies with Elon Musk
Thanks to the collaboration with Elon Musk's Space X, astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken will fly to the International Space Station (Iss) aboard the Crew capsule Dragon launched with the Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
