The corresponding statement was published on the website of the department.

“They are again forced to return to the topic of the development of the American blockade around Venezuela under the pretext of supposedly suppressing drug deliveries from this country. Our analysis clearly shows the fictitious nature of the accusations and claims put forward by Washington against Caracas, ”the report says.

The ministry noted that the US claims do not correspond to the "real state of things" and do not fit well with the conclusions and assessments of the relevant UN structures.

“We believe that not the deployment of squadrons and rattling weapons, but mutual assistance and solidarity should become the basis of interstate cooperation in the current difficult time for the world community,” the Foreign Ministry added.

Earlier, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called the US allegations of drug terrorism unfounded.
