Prime Minister Edouard Philippe will hold a press conference Sunday at the end of the afternoon to "give a full and precise update" on the situation of the crisis linked to the coronavirus pandemic, we learned on Friday from Matignon.
Édouard Philippe held a first press conference on March 29. He must also bring together all the party leaders during a videoconference Monday morning.
Present the main deconfinement options
This new conference will aim "in particular to say where we are on the health front, explained Matignon. Like the previous one, Edouard Philippe will be accompanied by the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran," as well as scientists who will give facts and figures "
"It will obviously be a question of the deconfinement strategy: he will not present the plan but he will outline the main options that are to be decided," said the entourage of the head of government.
A complete plan presented within a fortnight
While Emmanuel Macron has set the date of May 11 as the gradual exit from containment, which began on March 17, Edouard Philippe must present a plan within a fortnight.
"The Prime Minister immediately asked each minister to establish the list of questions that must be decided to succeed in the deconfinement," said his entourage.
