Abu Dhabi Police General Command called on drivers to avoid contact with personal effects, especially the phone while driving, shopping, and using headphones in order to enhance safe driving and the application of precautionary measures approved by the official authorities to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

She emphasized the preventive measures that the concerned authorities advised individuals to wear gloves, when leaving the house, and to replace them constantly when moving from one place to another and to avoid touching personal items when wearing gloves, especially those that are frequently used like the phone, in addition to disposing of the gloves in a safe way after Finish the purchase, touch the surfaces, or when handling various tools.

She insisted on washing hands well, with soap and water, after removing gloves.

She drew attention to the danger of using the phone and social media while driving the vehicle, which constitutes a serious risk to the driver and his companions, obstructing traffic, and accidents.

And she stressed the lack of complacency in the application of the law in the event of committing a violation of "busy without the road while driving", which is considered a serious violation, and its financial fine is 800 dirhams, in addition to 4 traffic points.

She cautioned against throwing masks and gloves on roads and public facilities after using them as they pose health and environmental risks to society, and urged to take positive behaviors that enhance the preservation of the environment and the cultural appearance of public facilities.

It stated that the Traffic Law stated in Article 71 that "throwing waste from vehicles on the road is a violation while driving", which is a fine of 1,000 dirhams, and the registration of 6 traffic points for violating drivers.
