China News Agency, Tianjin, April 16 (Reporter Zhang Daozheng) At the invitation of the Burkina Faso government, the Chinese government went to Burkina Faso Anti-epidemic Medical Expert Group from Tianjin on the 16th to Burkina Faso to help develop local Epidemic prevention and control work. This is also the first batch of Chinese experts sent to Africa to support the fight against epidemics.
The expert group is formed by the National Health and Health Commission and selected by the Tianjin Health and Health Commission. There are a total of 12 members in the expert group, mainly from the World Health Organization certified international emergency medical team contractor-Tianjin People's Hospital, supplemented by members of the Tianjin Center for Disease Control and Prevention, to strengthen the prevention and control of epidemic situation.
The professional fields of the expert group cover respiratory, critical illness, internal medicine, sense of hospital, traditional Chinese medicine, imaging, laboratory testing, epidemiological investigation, disinfection, nursing, etc.
It is understood that China's expert group on anti-epidemic medicine in Burkina Faso will shoulder a heavy responsibility. After arriving in Burkina Faso, it will share experience and exchange with local medical institutions and experts to help assess the local epidemic situation; Organize local offices to carry out technical exchanges and cooperation, assist remote countries in combating the epidemic situation remotely according to the situation; provide anti-epidemic training and guidance for the China-assisted medical teams; Guidance and necessary protective articles and traditional Chinese medicines; according to the needs of the cloth, go to other regions to carry out further research and guidance.
