The former cross-country star from Malung, now residing in Östersund, competed as cross-country skier IFK Mora. But as she now changes sports, the choice at the club fell closest to her place of birth.

“It feels great to represent a biathlon club that is so entrenched in my hometown. A big plus was also that the club has so many good skiers that I hope can be tracked by, ”says Stina Nilsson in a press release.

In Lima SKG there is already former national team rider Johanna Skottheim, also she lives in Östersund.

“We are obviously very happy today and look forward to giving Stina all the support she needs to succeed as a biathlete. We believe that Stina's entry into the club will increase the interest in biathlon in this area where biathlon sports are already great, "says Tommy Mattsson, chairman of Lima SKG.
