April 15, 2020 "It is undeniable that we are going in one direction, the data are confirming it but it is important not to let our guard down and ask for respect for the rules," said the president of the Veneto Region during the daily press conference to do the point of the situation on the coronavirus emergency, at the headquarters of the Civil Protection of Marghera (Venice).

"It is undeniable that we are in phase 2, we are fully and the restart is already happening in part - he explained - the recommendation I make to everyone is to think that we have two objectives: to safeguard our health and that of others".

"Our plan for phase 2 is ready to be discussed with the social partners and then we will also notify the government as a contribution for others as well. We will apply it to companies that are already open, which already follow the directives taken in the confrontation with the unions "Zaia said.

"To date, in Veneto, we have carried out 216,344 tampons," said the president of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia.

"The machine we purchased for the tampons is up and running and in the next few days we will see the results," said Zaia.

"The serological test must be validated by the scientific world as well as the rapid test. I know that as regards the latter, at national level there is reasoning to find a form of validation. The rapid test, if it were 100% certified and validated from a protocol, it would be exceptional, "said Zaia. "The test is done operationally in 30 seconds and then it would take 15 seconds to wait to see how the map is colored" stressed Zaia.

"I am convinced that it is too risky to reopen schools and our clinicians tell us this," said the president of the Veneto Region. "I consider it risky because the virus will still be present in our community in June and therefore the children would be confined in an environment where the virus is present" stressed Zaia.
