Refugee conditions
As for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, he warned of the deteriorating conditions of the nearly 70 million refugees who live in unsanitary conditions around the world, due to the spread of the epidemic.

He added - in an interview with Al Jazeera - that the organization sent an appeal to provide medical aid and housing throughout the world and in the communities hosting the refugees, noting that it had contacted many countries - especially the Gulf - to obtain financial support to help the refugees in these circumstances.

A Reuters survey showed that the number of deaths in the United States due to the new Corona virus exceeded 25,300 cases on Tuesday, that is, it doubled within one week.

The country - the third largest country in the world in terms of population - set a second record on Tuesday, when the number of HIV infections reached more than 600,000 cases, which is more than three times that of any other country.

The governors of the states of the US West Coast - Washington, Oregon and California - have agreed to prepare a joint plan to reopen economic activity, stressing that they will prioritize the safety of the population in any decision to ease restrictions on movement currently in place to curb the Corona outbreak.

The move follows a similar announcement made by the governors of six states on the east coast, including New York, whose governor Andrew Como said that if US President Donald Trump requested that the state be reopened in an unsafe manner, he would refuse to implement such a decision.

Europe

In Europe, France has become the fourth country to cross the 15,000 death mark, after Italy, Spain and the United States.
